A Journey of Growth and Commitment
From a cooperative idea to a transformative movement — this is how NAAMCOS came to be.
NAAMCOS was established with the aim of transforming rural economic systems through cooperation and innovation. The organization works closely with farmers, women entrepreneurs, and rural communities to create sustainable livelihood opportunities.
Since its inauguration by Padmashri Cheruvayal Raman on 29 February 2024, NAAMCOS Society has been working tirelessly to create a self-reliant cooperative model that uplifts farmers, empowers women, and promotes sustainable livelihoods.
The organization began by directly sourcing agricultural and rural products from small-scale producers and farmers. Today, over 90 quality products are marketed under the NAAMCOS brand — ensuring fair returns to producers and affordable prices for consumers.
This initiative has become a model for cooperative-driven rural marketing in Southern India, removing middlemen and creating transparent value chains.
